Haha, iPhone Case Review

I am soo happy with my iPhone case right now! LOL, I really put it to the test this morning! I bought a Speck CandyShell - soft rubber on the inside, hard case on the outside.

This morning I'm at the gym, jogging on the treadmill (okay, okay - it was a walk/jog Wink). I drop my iPhone down onto the belt, step on it, and then the belt shoots it out behind me, where it hits a recumbent bicycle and lands on the floor.

It's perfectly fine. There are a few scratches on the screen protector, but otherwise it's fine.

Don't tell my husband! And thank gawd it didn't break!

  • That's awesome & thanks for sharing the review. I've been tempting fate for the last year and a half by not bothering with a case...and I have a feeling my luck may not last much longer. :)
  • Hahaha, I love it. A few weeks ago one of my friends was asking if I had an iPhone case I would recommend, so I started telling her about how cute the one I'm using is and how I like the grippy feel on the sides. She sort of stared at me and nodded and then asked, "OK, so how does it hold up when you drop your phone?" The problem was that I...generally don't drop my phone. I think I've done it 3 times in the history of me having a cell phone. When I told her that she got this frantic look in her eye and was like, "You're recommending a case you've never dropped a phone in? WHAT GOOD ARE YOU!?!?!"

Cracked me the eff up. Good times.

I drop kick my phone regularly.  Therefore I don't carry phone worth replacing.  Embarrassed

3 times?!?!? That's some kind of record. I probably drop mine 3 times a week, on a good week. And like FCB, I usually don't carry nice phones. I've always had hand-me-downs and bought used, etc. However, I just had to have an iPhone, so I HAD to have a case Wink ... obviously.

  • I have the same case... it's toddler proof. I don't think it gets much tougher than that!
