Funny workplace inappropriateness
It's only 8:20 and our office is up to it again! lol Our receptionist just made an announcement over the intercom to another employee: "Lori, please stop ignoring my calls."
Anyone else have entertaining work stories for today?
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

Bwahahahaha. That story is awesome.
I haven't left for work yet, but I just teach one class today. They're doing impromptu speeches...if anyone does something particulalry interesting, I'll let you know.
Earlier this week I heard a different woman literally crying to a manager that someone else (I never found out who) refused to acknowledge her in the hallway.
I think there is something in the water here! Thank goodness I bring my own from home!

The impromptu speeches were pretty good today. Nothin inappropriate or hilarious though. One very quiet, mild-mannered student drew the question "What is your favorite movie?" and ended up doing this impassioned rant about how he only watches movies once and doesn't think it's fair when people look at you crazy for not remembering quotes because you can't remember them after only seeing the movie once, and seeing it more than once is just stupid.
The rant itself wasn't funny, but if you knew how meek and shy this guy is, you'd realize how hilarious it was to watch him get SO passionate about something so simple.
