Baby fever officially over
Wow, after spending the entire weekend with my bestie, his wife and their new little one, the baby fever is GONE!!!! I loved being with them and helping out, but holy crap there is a lot of work going into taking care of an infant that I am totally not ready for. Nick (Bestie) did so much stuff that I could not even imagine Chris doing. Kristen had a c-section and is still really sore so she cant move around too fast. As soon as she opens her mouth Nick is up and running for whatever she needs. I am so proud of him because he is normally super lazy. I just cant imagine Chris being so eager to make bottles or do laundry or be up in the middle of the night with a cranky baby. I couldnt imagine doing it and still being able to handle being a decent mom to Chase. So we may be pushing our September start date, back a little bit. Depending on how the summer goes.

Oh I am right there with you. We do want to have another one, and probably will start TTC by the end of this year, but I need to not think about the newborn stage so much because otherwise we'll never have another one. I think it's one of those things where we're just going to have to yank the band-aid off, so to speak.
