we're just now taking our tax stuff to the accountant. its not my fault its late though. DH business partner (house flippin') was late to get their business forms processed.

We still have to mail our state returns (NY and NC) and we have an extension on Federal because we're waiting to close on our house.

This. I'm annoyed because we can't take advantage of any of the credits (been homeowner [with great interest rate] for 10 years) and DH bought new car in 2008. I won't mail it before 4/15.
Yes us too minus the new car! I just found out that once your child turns 17, not 18, that you no longer get the child tax credit. Plus that Making Work Pay Credit bullcrap screwed up both of our witholdings and we never realized it until it was too late.
Lauren Massie? Did you tell her you got a recommendation...I think you get a discount for that...
Ours were e-filed, but I haven't mailed the checks for what we owe because our tax lady hasn't mailed our stuff yet.
