Hey girls, sorry I have been anti social and keeping a low profile for a while. I am getting miserable and felling like a b!tchy, crabby mess so I figured it was better to keep to myself, but I am trying to get back to reality, so here I am. I officially weigh 8lbs less than DH, he is 6ft, I am 5'2", and I have five weeks to go still. My feet are so swollen that I literally cannot wear any shoes, only flip flops, and not even the cute ones because they cut into my feet too much, only Haviaanas. My back hurts no matter what position I am in. Sitting, standing, laying down, the pain never goes away. My boss has officially decided to close my office. Good news is that I will be working from home *yay* bad news is that he now expects me to pack sh!t up and ship it, right, I'll get right on that. More good news is that baby is doing well, with a strong heartbeat and gaining weight right on track (good for her, bad for the back).
Anyway, I hope you all take me back. I am tired of being in a funk and need upbeat girls back in my life!!
Re: Hi All, Sorry I've Been MIA
Awww. Poor you!
I'm not looking forward to swollen feets and back pain. But good to hear that baby girl is growing and healthy! I can't believe you're only 5 weeks away! And
to your boss for wanting you to do all the packing and shipping.
I've been wondering where you were! I was getting ready to put an APB out on you! We've missed you lately!!
You're almost there! You can make it! Hopefully this little one will decide to come closer to 38 weeks than 40 weeks to get you back on the road to being comfortable.
Tell your boss to take a hike...or get a note from your doc that says you CAN'T be on your feet packing and lifting things.
Take care of yourself and get some rest. Sorry there's no comfortable position for you. Can you get to a pool? It totally lightenes the load of the baby belly.

Definitely ditto what pp say!!!
It's coming fast and soon, this swelling, tiredness, etc will just be a memory and you'll have something else to think about!
This. Maybe he could hire a temp or something and let them do it while you sit by with your feet up bossin them around. That sounds like a fab idea. I hope you can get yourself to a pool soon and find some other ways to keep you comfy.
It's amazing to me how something we are born to do can be a source of such discomfort. Then again, seems like that's the way it is for women about a lot of things.
Almost there pretty lady, big hugs.
PLEASE don't do any heavy lifting. It's really not going to help your back. Put your foot down on this one.
I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable! You're getting there!
I'm glad your back and the baby's doing well. Sorry you're so uncomfortable and your boss is being an idiot. I agree with the other girls about this.
Hope the warm weather this past week gets the pool heated so you can enjoy it!
