Rec a/your roomy car ...and seen any good deals?

We'll be starting to look soon.

Re: Rec a/your roomy car ...and seen any good deals?

  • I am planning on heading over to the Totyota dealership this weekend to test drive a few cars (Venza, Highlander, 4Runner).  DSS barely fits in my backseat now, so I have got to find something with more space and I figure all of Toyota's recent promotions are a good jumping-off point.
  • when buying our car in Nov/Dec i was primarily looking at 4Runners & Pilots. I ended up with a pilot (a 2006) and we felt like it was roomier than the 4Runner. I love my Pilot Smile
  • I drive an Acura TSX and I love it. It's very roomy for a midsize car. There's lots of trunk space. I drove an SUV for ten years before my Acura and I don't think I'd go back. I really, really love this car.

  • We have a Subaru Outback and we love it. It has more cargo space than my sister's gargantuan GMC Yukon. We regularly haul around uhaul boxes full of records and there is always a ton of space.

  • We have a Toyota Avalon & I love it!  I never knew I liked big cars until I drove that bad boy.  I know Toyota is having great deals right now so you might get something from the dealership...
  • I commented on the babies board but I love my Volvo XC60.  We also looked at the Venza and I loved it as well but the XC60 was just a little sexier to me and I'm a big Volvo fan.  As far as features, you'll get more for your money with the Venza though.  Toyota was doing 0% financing recently too and tons of incentives I'm sure.

Um, yeah.  I test drove the XC60 and it is exactly what I want/ need.  I am looking for an interim car until I can have what I want.  DH is concerned that my warranty will run out before then, and there are a few other issues factoring that are pushing me to go now.

  • I LOVE the XC60.  They are so sleek and just look nice.  If I ever get a new car (fat chance) I want one of those.  Or a BMW X5.
  • I have a Hyundai Sonata, and it has been a great car.  The trunk is huge and the back seat is very spacious.  They are really affordable too.
