Wedding items
What did you do with your extra wedding invitations, Bridal shower/Wedding gift cards. ( Not like gift cards, but cards that were attached to gifts)

They are in a pretty gift bag just waiting for me to learn to scrapbook. and for me to have the time and patience to actually scrapbook.
But in reality, they will probably sit there for years. And years. I do know I won't throw them away.

We have them in a box in our spare closet. I felt bad throwing them out.
Ditto. Most of our leftover wedding stuff that can't be reused is in the card box that we had at the reception. We also kept every single reply card.
We way over-ordered on the invitations, those are still sitting in the box they came in. I don't have the heart to throw them all out. I always figured we'd keep a few for sentimental reasons, but now I'm hanging on to like 75 extra copies of everything!
I have to say you girls made me feel so much better. I watch Hoarders and seriously think.... Oh God. Is that me? I'm glad to see some of you still have your wedding stuff... More so you Meg, because like you we over-ordered and I didn't trash not one.
I used some of the things leftover in our scrapbook (like extra invites, STDs, place cards, etc.).
We ordered WAY too many invitations. (like 1 for every person because I got retarded and just ordered 100 when I only needed like 50...oops). But I can not throw them away. I feel bad. I've even got one of them in a shadowbox frame.
As far as the cards we got from people for my shower and the wedding I'll be putting those in a scrapbook too. Right now they're all packed but I know exactly where they are so if I get the time before we move I'll put them in a book otherwise it's on my list of things to do...
Yup...this is me exactly. Eric keeps bugging me to do something with the bag already. It's in the garage, and also has to point it out that I've done NOTHING with it yet! Errrr...I'll do it when I feel like it. I'm sooo not wedding-DIY motivated anymore.
I think I tossed the cards last year. I'm pretty sure at least. haha. I did find a $100 bill though! AHAHA. I'm horrible with money. I suck at cashing checks.
I have no emotional attachment to cards. I rarely even think about buying cards for others. I think about how I could've bought starbucks with it instead. Yep, I'm that kid.
