a vent- working, motherhood, and idiots
So I am officially (almost) going back to work next year. I was in talking to my boss yesterday and she says, "So are you ready to give this all up?" gesturing to B. who is in my lap. I almost started to cry right there! Blargh. I don't have to work, but it fits in with our long term plans including sending B. to my private school. It was so frustrating to hear her say that. Grrr

boooo!!! what an awkward, awfully worded question. try not to let it bother you - I hate that there has to be this idea of either work or baby - that you can't possibly do or live both.
