Hi Girls!
Just wanted to stop by quickly while I have 2 minutes...Sadie is doing great...mostly!
Some days she is a sleep-a-holic and other times she is WIDE AWAKE! Last night was a little rough...she did not want to sleep in the bassinet, so she slept on my chest and I sat up and slept. Very comfortable, I HIGHLY recommend it (sarcasm). I am not sure if it was like reflux from feeding from something I ate or if it was I just want to be clingy to my mommy! Any of you BFing moms have issues with the baby when you ate certain foods?
I hope all of you are doing well. I hope I can stop by more often. I know some of you have been following my posts on FB. That's the easiest for me since I can do it from my phone as I feed. The nest acts crazy from my phone. I miss you girls and can't wait to get back in to nesting on a regular basis! I am also going to try doing my birth story...it was QUITE fun! LOL
XOXO
Re: Pokes head in...
This! And we need pictures of baby Sadie!
Thanks for the Sadie update, sorry about the rough night!
FWIW, my iPod touch freaks on the nest too. I can bump on it, but it keeps freezing up when I try to get to the Novembie site.
Carliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! I have missed you so. But completley understand being swamped in love with Sadie. Hope to see you soon.
I'm not a mommy but I have friends that have had to change their diets while b/fing because whatever they ate wasn't agreeing with baby. GL!
I wanna see pics of Sadie!!!
As for BFing keep a food log along with a mood log. If you see one food is present with fussiness stop eating that food for a bit. Myka has a sensitivity to anything dairy and I have been without since she was 2 months. To this day I know if I ate something that had milk or cheese in it, she is up all night fussing. For the first 2 months I slept with her on my chest in a recliner until I figured out what was bothering her.
Do you have a lactation nurse you can consult? I had a lot of problems BFing Bebe . . . and when I went to the LN it helped a ton.
Bebe was lactose intolerant . . . which sucked. She also had reflux. She would regurge immediately after eating . . . it was weird. She took a medication for it up until she was 6 months old.
Either way, I second keeping a log to help you keep track. Good luck!
