sooo embarassing
So I had to take my dog to the vet today for his checkup. I dont usually keep tons of money in my checking, so I try to go onto online banking and the wachovia site isnt working. It wont let me transfer money from savings into checking! So I know I have 80 in cash on me so I thought that SHOULD be enough....
well after my dog gets checked out the bill comes to 100, so I give her my 80 and told her I'd put the 20 on my debit card. I know that I was cutting it close and I couldnt remember how much was on my debit card. Well, i was DENIED!! i was so embarrassed. The vet said its ok just come back when you get it straightened out! She was trying to be really sweet to me. I feel like such a loser lol I really have the money but stupid wachovia isn't working today!!

no as long as you have money in your checking account that can last you till monday I guess you are ok. I am screwed then because I was going to put money from my money market into my checking today so I can go to Tampa this weekend (i have to buy a bridesmaid dress and have money to eat!!!) What am i gonna do now?!?! AHH!!

If you go into the bank can they do it for you? I would think that they would still have that ability even with the merger.
You should be able to go to the bank in person and either a) get some blank checks from them so you can write checks (which won't go through until Monday anyway) or b) withdraw cash. Preferably both so you can buy your dress without carrying a bunch of cash around?

I am really stupid and went to the bank in a frantic. I was like "OH! I will just transfer some money from savings into checking through the ATM" Well, I wait in line at the atm for like 5 min and then I get there and go to transfer it, then I realize I don't have money in savings, its in a money market acct, which isnt even an option to transfer from the ATM. I cancelled and stomped back to my car because I was super mad at myself for being stupid. Now I am even madder because I prob could have gone into the bank but I dont know my money market acct number, I just know my checking number (however they prob couldve looked it up for me).
I called DH and he said he would just get cash before he came home. He also said that I have checks that came with my money market acct but he has to find them in his desk. Looks like I am going to survive!! What a DAY!! I am having a huge birthday party for my dog Harley tonight. He is turning 2, which is a big deal since they didnt think he would survive to be 6 mths old. I still have to clean the house, make a human cake and a dog cake, and pack to go to Tampa in the AM. whew!

oh nooo!! I hope your dog is ok, seizures are very scary
I guess her card wasn't working because she had a lot of charges in a different state maybe. I guess I will have to get myself straightened out with the vet on Monday.
