I knew it. Ya know how? I had a dream last night that you guys got a house. And you painted Scarlett's room hot pink and purple with a Lisa Frank unicorn mural. It was AWESOME!

I was fully expecting to hear late today, but I got a call from my REA. Usually she emails me, so I knew it was either really good news or really bad. When she told me I was in shock! It took a minute to process. I got so used to being let down. I called Jason (who was thrilled, but had to call me back). Then I made a mini announcement in my office and danced around like a foolio. I went to lunch with some friends (from my old department) and told them, too.
Now we're in an email frenzy ordering a home inspection and TWO appraisals (because it's a flip, bummer - buh-bye extra $400). Apparently there's only one investor left that still does this (FHA on a flip), but my REA confirmed with the loan guy that he feels that there will be no issue getting two high appraisals and that investor because I'm a "good buyer" with good credit and income.
I have to move money around and get a check ready, but he's not sure exactly how much my total down will be (waiting to hear back on escrow fees). I know there some processing time with accessing some of my fundage, so I am anxious to know the amount.
