and something I so never thought of. We decided to scrap the gifts because we couldn't come up with anything for cotton. But now I'm thinking we're going to need new bedding for the new house
Wow, super thoughtful! Can I get your hubby to hang out with my hubby? DH doesn't have a romantic bone in his body and I'm willing to bet doesn't even know there are traditional wedding gifts for each year of marriage, lol!

Chris is actually the one that knew the "traditional" yearly gifts. Since year 1 was paper, he bought me Opening Day Phillies tickets, I gave him money to buy himself something in the ball park. Honestly, I didnt expect him to 1) actually get opening day tickets 2) actually think to get me a gift based on "traditional" gifts. I think the ladies in his office help him out with gift ideas. They know me really well and know what I like.
This year we decided to wait until Aruba to buy each other our "cotton gifts" but I bought him a polo shirt for vacation and he ended up buying me a t-shirt from the town he went fishing in over the weekend. (Im a dork, but I love t-shirts from totally random places we either stop by or stay in)
