Because my brother just called me on my cell phone! WOO!
and, on another note, the builder for our house called me today to set up our DRYWALL meeting for next Tuesday which means they should be starting that next week!!!

We're only limited to 20 minutes a call. And we have to pay for them, not the inmate. For the house phone it bills directly on our monthly bill but for the cell phone I had to set up a pre-paid account. Both are though the same provider, Global Tel Link, but the cell phone thing is really new and yesterday was the first time we tried it because I just got it all set up. It's mildly expensive though, $7.25 for a 20 minute phone call.
I would say 7.25 is totally worth it! How exciting! :-)
