Okay, so we've only ever used condoms for birth control (I don't take the pill for medical reasons). That's fine with both of us, but dh is definitely on the larger side and the only condom that we've tried that (at least mostly) works in terms of fit is the Trojan Magnum XL. We've tried many different sizes/brands besides this, but only found maybe one other brand that worked out of all of them.
It'd be nice to find a condom that was thinner or more of the "you can barely feel it" variety - or even more condoms that work in general, since even the Trojan XL seems a little small sometimes - but does such a thing exist in the larger sizes? We've really had a difficult time finding even standard condoms in the larger range, even online.
Re: larger condoms question?
What about the female condums instead? Have you tried using that?
I haven't and don't know much about them...but just a suggestion.
I like the Durex.
Here are some other options:

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not too keen on trying female condoms... I've heard they're harder to use and less effective and harder to find... so I'd rather not have to do that.
We have looked at and tried ordering condoms online, but most of those didn't work out (we ordered a variety of eight "large to extra-large and only 1 of those kind of worked).
All the Durex we've tried have been too small (but I doubt we've tried ALL they have to offer). Marisa, thanks for the link, but long story short I usually use a computer that has some internet restrictions, and it seems to be blocking the site you linked to... :P any chance you could give me a list of specific brands/names on the page?
Female condoms are not harder to use, just different. They are just as effective, and because there's TWO rings, one on the outside, and one on the inside, some women like the stimulation that results from the outside ring. They are much more expensive, though, so that's the one drawback. You insert the female condom much like you would a diaphragm, so it's similar to that. Many men like the female condoms more because the sensation is different--rather than the penis being covered and them feeling the stimulation through the condom, the stimulation is directly on the penis, as the female condom stays inserted and doesn't move. Hope that makes sense.
Years ago, when I distributed condoms (male and female) as part of my job, I was told that the female condom was actually developed for gay men for anal sex--not sure if it's true, but it makes sense that it's a similar mechanism for prevention of disease.
durex xxl

Tried those and they didn't work either... I actually read that the "xxls" for Durex aren't really much different in size than the regulars.
Frustrating.
