Raleigh--where to buy

I hope everyone's having a great Saturday!  With all the sunshine and flowers blooming I would like to purchase some plants.  I need to grow them in flower boxes/pots because we're in an apartment for now.  Where do you buy flowering plants in the Raleigh area?

 Thanks!

Re: Raleigh--where to buy

  • We get most of the plants for our yard/porch at the farmer's market or Logan's in Seaboard Station near downtown.

Love this place!  The employees there are so helpful, which is great for us since we have no clue what we are doing!

  • I had forgotten that I had seen Logan's before.  Thanks for the tip.  We'll check it out.
  • Really good source; also if you are there at meal time try the cafe for a casual bite. Good soups, salads, sandwiches.

  • I've never been to Logans (however, now that I know about it, we'll have to check it out) but I second the Farmers market.

I personally really like supporting local growers, plus from what I've seen, everythings a pretty good deal!
