Kinda new- looking for advice
Hi, my name is Alyssa and I'm kinda new here. I've been reading some posts lately, but never introduced myself.I was wondering if you ladies could recommend some books for me to read about fertility. My dh and I don't want kids for another year or so, and I'm horrible at taking bcp daily. I was on NuvaRing, but can't afford it anymore. I'm keeping good track of my cycle and just want to get to know my body more!
Thanks!
-Alyssa
Re: Kinda new- looking for advice
check out thebump.com, there is tons of fertility info on there. it is written for ladies hoping to conceive but you get the same information.
if you have a iphone or android phone, search for an app that tracks your period. i have one called MYDAYS, i enter when periods start, end, and when i have sexx. it guesses my fertile days and it also has the option to track temperature and if you took your pill or not.
and i doubt BNOTB is your best option.
Alysssa, I must agree with HisCB?s posting ? thebump.com does have a wealth of information available out there for you to learn from. Both Belovedbride07 and taylormillgirl are correct with their suggestion getting a copy of ?Taking Charge of Your Fertility? by: Toni Weschler ? this is an extremely valuable resource of information also. I fully concur with the posting she make about your discipline ? you must be responsible enough to track your body daily ? if as you stated you do not want to become pregnant for another year or so then you must take charge of this ? no one, that?s no one will do this for you..
Here is another book which I strongly advise you to buy, read, practices what?s written and keep this one for future use ? both you and DH should use this one to keep the marriage growing: ?The Marriage Art? by: John E. Eichenlaub, M.D. A Dell Book ? Published by: Dell Publishing Co. Inc. 750 Third Avenue New York 17, N. Y. Copyright 1962
