Question about a post

http://forums.theknot.com/Sites/theknot/Pages/Main.aspx/local-wedding-boards_nevada-las-vegas_could-based-knottie-please-out-shoes

A knottie on my board is asking for someone to be the receiver of a package (i.e. shoes)--and then ship it to her in Canada; this isn't the first time she's requested American knotties help her out via shipping things to her. She posts a lot outside of asking for help with shipping things---but, is this something I should ask her to put a stop to?

TIA!

(I'm not sure if the new mod board is good to go yet or not, so I'm posting this here for now)

Re: Question about a post

  • I don't see any reason why you should be concerned about this.  I don't think she's breaking any rules by asking for help.

I just wanted to make sure--she is soliciting help from other knotties, so I just wanted to double check. Thanks!

  • We all solicit help from other knotties, usually just in the form of advice.

I think the solicitation rules are really meant to capture vendors or people soliciting for services or customers.

  • Ditto Danieliza - I've seen this frequently on my month club board and I think as long as the member are OK with it, it wouldn't be an issue.
