I have a follow up appointment today with my diabetes doctor. If everything looks ok we will have the green light to go back to the fertility doctor to try IUI #2....which would be this week! In January just as we were starting to try our second IUI I found out I had diabetes and we had to stop trying. I think my numbers are going to be ok but am so afraid they are going to say wait a few more months.
I'm losing my current health insurance at the end of this month and the infertility benefits are really good. Everything would be covered 100 % I'll have new insurance in May but know the coverage won't be as good.
If all is well we can get one IUI in with my current insurance. Hopefully then a miracle will happen and it works so we won't have to worry about IUI #3.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me!
Updated: Novembie vibes work again! My blood sugar level was normal so we have the green light. I just scheduled my appointment for this Wednesd to start IUI #2. I have to have an initial monitoring appointment then about 7 days of hormone shots (poor DH...I was a bit cranky the first time around with all the hormones) then the big day. Never been so excited to have a date with the vag cam.
