jury duty

I'm fulfilling my civic duty today--fun :P. Good thing I remembered late last night and not this morning! I will say that the courthouse in Woburn is much nicer than the old one in Cambridge.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: jury duty

  • Enjoy!  I don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be, unless you have to drive forever to the courthouse or something.
  • lol I'm still bitter about my one jury duty experience. I got called my sophomore year of college, and had to reschedule microbiology final exam and get my roommate to drive me from Wellesley to Dedham, because I didn't have a car, and couldn't afford cab fare there and back.

    And I wasn't even a MA resident!

I think now that I do live in MA, I would be much more willing to serve. Now that I have a car and a better schedule, it'd be ok (not to mention I live a mile from the county courthouse).

  • I want jury duty SO bad, but to date I've never been summoned. :(
