Congrats gift . . .
A friend of mine got engaged around Christmas and we've been trying to see each for months. It looks like we're going to have a double date on Saturday. She's been insanely good to me in the past (she threw my bachelorette party) so I want to do something nice for her. I was thinking of cooking dinner for them at home or springing for dinner when we go out, but our apartment is a closet and since we're about to move spending over $100 on dinner out might not be the best idea.
So I thought, "I know! I'll get them a nice bottle of booze! Champagne or fancy liquor!" And then I remember her fiance is recovering from issues with substance abuse and I'd like to give a gift that he can enjoy too.
Any ideas, ladies?

Gift card to restuarant! Do they have a favorite one or a favorite type of cuisine? That would be a great date night out for them.
