I know that i should know these but i don't:
1. Today DH and I had a super wonderful time in the sack. After he pulled out there was thick white discharge on the outside of the condom. We checked for leaks so I know it's not from him. It has to be from me, but what is it? Since it has never been there before should I talk to my gyno?
2. Sometimes when we have sex it feels like DH is hitting my cervix. It is super painful so I would like to make it stop. I am super turned on when this happens and DH is a pretty normal size. It has happened in just about every position at some point so it's not like I can just avoid one type of position. DH is very sweet and tries to not go to deep but then it seems like he is to busy trying to think about depth that he doesn't get as into it. Any ideas of other things we can try.
Thanks for your help.
Re: 2 stupid questions
I think this may have to do with where you are in your menstrual cycle.
I know that I sometimes had thick cervical mucous, about a week or so before I ovulated. Also at different times during your cycle your cervix is lower than at other times.
Taking Charge of Your Fertility explains it much better than I can.
this.
You can always discuss these things with your gyne. They are pretty good at answering any questions after the whole exam session.
Usually white discharge means that your menstrual cycle is about to begin. If there was a scent or it looked more cheesy white as opposed to mucousy and white it may be an indication of a yeast infection. If it had a funny smell to it, go see your doctor to further confim.
2. If sex is painful, make sure you speak with your doctor. Sex is supposed to feel great and wonderful. Not be painful. A friend ignored this for over a year. Her doc didn't know what to tell her. Well, she decided to switch doctors and her diagnosis became clear: Endometriosis. Fertility decreases within each year. Not trying to scare you but if anything seems wrong with yourself. . . GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR. Do not wait for it to get better because it may be your downfall. Good luck and take care!
Definitely see your doc, but I doubt its endo.
When you ovulate, your body produces a creamy, white vaginal discharge. In addition, your cervix is lower when you ovulate. You're more 'into it' because you're hormones are set up to get KU.
Read TCOYF to learn about why and when your body does what it does. It will help you when/if you decide to TTC, too.
Thanks for the help.
Sex isn't painful all the time. We have sex 3-5 times a week and maybe two of the times he will "hit" the end one or two times. It just hurts when it does happen.
I will talk to my Dr. when I have my next exam which is coming up soon.
Check your PM for an answer to the 2 stupid questions ? posting it contains information for you only? Emily
Way to be a super creep.
What kind of super secret answer are you going to give her that can't be posted on here? creepy indeed
agreeeeee with jadeorchid. If this is new, you should get it checked out. Some discharge is normal, but if has a different odor or you have itching, it could be an infection. Same for the pain with sex. It could be a symptom of something you'd want to take care of. Or... it could be nothing, but better safe than sorry!
