Hey Sarah, just wanted to say congrats on your 5k yesterday!!  I saw your pics on FB and way to go!  Don't you feel so great afterwards?

What's next on your running agenda?  I really want to do a 10k that's at the beginning of June but I think after training for an 8k that I ran about a month ago I have some tendonitis action going on in my right ankle.  Either that or I don't tie my shoes tight enough b/c I hate tight shoes! :)

PS:  You look fabulous!!

Re: **Ladybird**

  • Hey girl!!!  Work has been crazy, this is my first time on the boards all day!!

Thanks for the congrats :-)  I'm pretty stoked about it!!!

I think we are going to go to another 5K in a few weeks - DH is going to run with me, and my mom too!  I'm going to start training for a 10K soon... and eventually a half!  eeek!!!!!

I have the opposite problem with my shoes - I tie them way too tight and so my toes start going numb... lol...

    Haha, that's too funny!

Good luck with training for the 10k and half, that's awesome!  My good friend wanted me to run the Chicago Marathon with her, I declined.  The thought of running for 6 hours straight kinda makes me want to puke :)

  • I thought about eventually running a marathon... but then I read that some people actually POOP themselves while running and I thought... "um, no thanks".

So I think I'll stick to the goal of eventually running a HALF marathon.  I think that's pretty good.  lol...

I actually know someone who ran one of the marathons at Disney and that happened to them multiple times throughout the course!  Yeah no thanks here too, my bowels already have a mind of their own and I am sure I would be one of the people who poop themselves.
