Today is both good and bad. DH and I took yesterday off so we had a long birthday weekend, and we got a lot of stuff done around the condo. We both feel like we should after a vacation day: relaxed, calm, and happy.
On the flip side, going back to work SUCKS. I'm too relaxed to the point where I just want to go back home, and lay out in the sun. Stupid work... crushing my dreams...
I'm happy that it's sunny today. I would not be able to make it through the work day if it wasn't.
Today has the potential to be fabulous because I'm about this (__) close to getting my shop up and running. I need to make one more product, knit a swatch for a banner background, tweak a couple of descriptions, and I'm in business!

Morning! I'm making a conscious attempt to be more active here- I miss you guys!
Today....I'm reserving judgement. I have a lot up in the air right now, and I'm just waiting to see how it all lands. Too many ups and downs, so I'm focusing on the little things- a sunny day (at last!), fresh berries for breakfast, and a few minutes to myself.

I got to tell you that so far today is not so terrific. We are under a winter storm warning and it's 1 degree. Also the Mr. texted me and told me he made some mistakes at his new job yesterday. I asked if he got in trouble and he hasn't texted me back. I am super paranoid about this job he has because it's actually good and has a lot of future potential but...The Mr and jobs don't always go so well.
Ok, let's get positive. I have 3 shifts left until me, my mom and sister go to Vegas!!!! I am also going to practice my dance before work and maybe hit Starbucks!

Today is terrific because I leave for NYC on Friday to see the Tim Burton exhibit and Wicked! I also just found out one of our friends (the guy who did our wedding photography) has some photos included in an exhibit on Friday so we get to go support him and his work...and we'll be seeing him and his fabulous gf as well as one of my BFF's (who works for a beauty pr firm...so I always get free goodies when I see her! Double bonus!)...I'm really excited.
