Stopping by for a quick hello :)

I've been neglecting to nest lately and I miss it!  I'm just getting caught up on posts now, love reading all these baby stories (congrats to Lola!), U/S (Yes Tara, I'm talking about you!  Have a great trip, and don't stress, OK?  Hugs!) stories, bump pics (Lisakeiko, you look great!!), husbands carrying pets in baby wraps (Hmm... I wonder whose H that could be Wink) and so many others I can't even mention in one post!

Last week I spent the week with DH in the US.  We took a drysuit diving course and it kicked out butts.  Nancy, I think you had mentioned that you drysuit dive?  I don't know how you do it!  It's a lot of work!  We also drank and ate way too much.  Bleh.

Now I'm back in Vancouver and up to my ears in immigration paperwork.  I guess the good news is that we're moving along.  The bad news is that we still have no idea when we can live together.  I have a really bad feeling this is all going to happen in July when SIL (in MN), and an American friend (in PA) are getting married.  If my visa's stuck in processing, there is a chance I won't be able to enter the US and would have to miss their weddings.  That.would.suck!

Whew!  That ended up being longer than a quick hello but just wanted to check in.  I have to say, reading all of your posts really brings a smile to my face when I'm stuck under heaps of immigration stuff.  There is something about a man, with a cat strapped to him, and dogs sniffing at the cat that just brightens up my day!  (Lisa, I really hope you and Ben will be carrying 2 wee pirates in those wraps very soon!)

Have a great week, everyone!  Smile

Re: Stopping by for a quick hello :)

  • Chikaaaaaa! So good to see you! I was thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were doing. Smile

Ugh, immigration dramas SUCK. I really hope the timing works out so you can attend the wedding, but if not then I guess the silver lining is that at least the process is moving along, right?

LOL I hope we're carrying 2 wee pirates (instead of cats lol) in those wraps soon too...these kids are starting to seriously overstay their welcome!

  • Hola!  I am sorry imigration is taling WAY longer than you thought it would...boo!  I don't get it.  You guys are married for crying out loud!  Hang in there...glad you had some nice R&R with your hubby!
  • Ohh, I bet the diving class was fun! I'd love to do it someday! Sorry to hear about the immigration uncertainty...I hope things work out so you can make it to the weddings. Lots of continued vibes your way! Keep us posted! Good to see you back again =)
