I've missed you ladies!
It's been a while since I've posted on here, mainly because I couldn't remember how to find it on TN and was too lazy to go back on TK..LOL.
Alot has happened since the wedding. DH and I were trying to get or finances in order to buy a home and actually had found the perfect one. We were preapproved for a loan for the house and the mortgage payments would have been just perfect for us! So we put in a bid on the house about 10% less than the asking price. The seller accepted it right away! So we went through with all the endless inspections. Little did I know, this house was a trap. The roof needed to be replaced, the central ac ducts were cracked and the previous owner had drilled THROUGH them. The foundation was cracked and there were some severe electrical problems. The total cost to fix all the problems were about half the cost of the house. DH and I couldn't justify spending that much money on fixing a house right now, nor could we afford it. So we retracted our bid and walked away from our dream.
But on the bright side, we did find a cute little rent house to settle into in the meantime until we can find something else in our price range!

I'm sorry your house didn't work out. But there's always reasons why things happen in life. You will come across a better house!
