Charting/Testing madness!!(may be a little TMI, but help appreciated)
I'm so frustrated.... I've been charting temp and CM like a mad woman this month and bought OPKs. I'm on day 20 (my usual O day). I had no temp spike and though CM was somewhat EW yesterday,OPK was negative.
Today, again, temp is "normal" and CM is cloudy. I think I missed it yesterday and DH was being such an as$ that we didn't do the deed.
Does it sound like I missed my chance this month?
Re: Charting/Testing madness!!(may be a little TMI, but help appreciated)
Are you only testing once a day? What time are you testing?
I got to the point where I had to test two or three times a day to make sure that I was catching it. If I hadn't done that, I would have certainly missed the window several times.
It's possible but without a thermal shift, there is no clear indication that you have O'd. I think you are probably still gearing up. JMO.
I'm sorry I cannot help with charting questions but I can definitely tell you about an ovulation test that helped us. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It's a Clearblue Fertility Monitor. I think that it's the best. It helps you to get rid of stress and frustration about your ovulation day. It's expensive but totally worth it.
Before I bought it I used regular ovulation tests (not clearblue) and wasted about three months of TTC as the test showed ovulation on the 17th day instead of the 13th day (as I learned later).
Anyway, I love my monitor and I think that it was the best investment ever

I agree with pp about using OPKs more than once a day. I used them in the morning and in the afternoon. For me, it would have been very easy to miss the LH surge if I'd only used them once a day.
This sounds a little backwards. Once your temp rises O has already taken place so your OPK should have been positive a day or two before. Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? If not, I highly suggest it.
ETA: Unless you meant you got home from work yesterday and your OPK was positive and your temp rised this morning......that makes sense.
