not as planned

I was hoping for a great appt today -- and to be back to work next week.

No such luck -   After my mfm appt today, I had to go to the hospital to be monitored.   I have ANOTHER uti~ never had one my entire life, this is my third with this pregnancy.   I was having mini contractions - they think the uti was causing that activity, not actual contractions.

I am back on strict bedrest - no more limited activity - it was great while it lasted.  I will not be able to return to work for the remainder of this school year.

Evan is FANTASTIC!!!!    he passes all his tests with flying colors - they said the results from his non stress test compare to a baby that is 34-36 weeks.  He weighs 2 lbs 11 oz.

Re: not as planned

  • Sorry you can finish out the school year, but I am so glad to hear the Evan is doing well.  Soon (but not too soon) all this bed rest will be a distant memory and you will have him in person. Let me know if you need anything.
  • I've been thinking about you Angela.  I'm sorry to hear your disappointment with the appointment yesterday.  I'm so glad to hear the positive news about Evan though.  That's great!  Like Denise said this will all be a distant memory in a few short weeks when you are up to your elbows in the cuteness and love baby Evan will bring! :)  Hugs to you.
  • That's great news about Evan!  You are doing a fantastic job making sure that little boy is growing healthy and strong!  But, I'm sorry you are back on strict bedrest.  Hopefully, the next several weeks will pass quickly, and he'll be in your arms before you know it.
  • YAY, Go Evan and congrats to you ... your hard work is paying off.  I'm sorry you're back on bedrest though.  Hang in there & keep dreaming about that sweet little baby to help you stay positive.  You're doing great!

  • I know how hard it's been for you with this pregnancy but you really are doing a fantastic job and you will be so greatly rewarded in the end.  I'm so glad that Evan is doing so well...that must be a sense of relief in itself.  Hang in there...you are getting so close now.

You know I am here for whatever you need.  Keaton and I will be visiting of course.  : )
