Stagette theme?

My friends and I are hosting a stagette for a co-worker friend. We are planning on doing dinner and drinks then a chair dance class followed by maybe going to a few clubs. One of the girls brought up the idea of a theme and we all agreed it would be fun but we've all hit a spot of uncreativeness and can't really think of one. I brought up 80's but one girl thinks that the bride has been to a 80's party not all that long ago. What do you guys think would make for a fun and relativly easy to do theme?

Re: Stagette theme?

  • I was going to suggest 80s.  Or you could all wear wigs.  Like bright colored wigs etc. ?
  • You could do 60's flower child bell bottoms peace signs...yu can find a lot of that stuff now.  Or you could do 50's...think Grease...
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
  • When we did my sisters' party, we all just wore black shirts, jeans, and everyone bought a pink feather boa.  :)  Easy peasy but not really a theme per se.
  • You could do a "wild" theme and incorporate animal prints, bright colors, etc.  I like the feather boa idea.  The chair dance class reminds me of strippers, so I guess you could do an "exotic" theme Wink
