Charities with pick-up service?
We've been doing some major decluttering and I'm tired of driving everything to Goodwill. What charities come to your house to pick up your donations? I can think of Amvets (my mom uses this one), Vietnam Vets, & St. Vincent dePaul. Are there any others? Or one whose mission & activities are a best fit for you?
Re: Charities with pick-up service?
I'm not sure if there is one in your area or not, but down here there is an American Cancer Society thrift store near my house and they will pick up items if you ask. I love them because 100% goes to the American Cancer Society. Everyone volunteers there and I think that's great!
Do you think these places would want to pick up old electronics? I have a bunch of old electronics in my office in Oxford and I think most of them just need a part or some TLC to work well again.
But I need them OUT of my office, and I hate to call large trash pickup if someone would take them and make money from them.
