Non-Clicky Poll: PG ladies and mommies
IRL I know 4 pregnant gals and of them three got pregnant on their first month of trying! I know the "average" is supposed to be a year for couples, but I'm curious how long it took you all. I was just taken aback by knowing 3 people who got pregnant the first month they started trying (and two of them didn't chart and had never even heard of charting) and was curious if this is the norm and after hanging out on the GP board, this certainly doesn't seem like the typical experience. Just wondering...

I, like an idiot at 18, had unprotected sex for almost 18 months before I got pregnant. And obviously at 18 and head over heals in love I had a lot of sex (we lived together). I was one of those " it wont ever happen to me" type chicks.
Thats why Im afraid its going to take a lot longer than I think when we do TTC.
This was me to, at 18, but it only took 4 months then. It took 6 months when we conceived Cole.
It took us 10 months to get PG and I got Pg on my first Cycle of Clomid.
I was off the pill and charting for 7 months before we actually started trying but it took me 2 cycles once we did TTC.
i was off BC for a year and charted TTA....it took us 3 months when we started to TTC.
i have heard the first month off BC you are your most fertile...i didn't try, so i'm not sure. i'm on the mini pill now, so will see if that is true for us when i'm finally ready to TTC again!
