Say some prayers for my dog, please.

I just dropped my 14 year old cattledog off at work.  She is breathing almost like she has asthma (which she never has before) and limping really badly on her front leg.

She boarded at my office over the weekend so I assumed the breathing was due to possibly catching an upper respiratory infection while boarding.  However, I'm super freaked out by the limp since she was totally normal when we went to bed last night.  When I got her up this morning she couldn't put her foot down at all.

Coupled with her not wanting to eat much and being really mopey, I'm stressing out over this.  She was R's dog before we met and he adores her.  I always worry that something will happen to her when he is gone working, and he is still in Boston until tomorrow night.

Keep your fingers crossed ladies.  I asked my boss to do a full workup on her because I'm afraid she may have cancer . . . osteosarcoma runs in her breed and the signs aren't good right now.  (I'm also a freak and always prepare for the worst though, so lets hope its nothing.)
