Book club ladies come in!

Last night we decided that instead of doing a poll we would just put out a call for suggestions.  So, reply with a book that you think we should read next.  On Friday Lauren and I will pick one and she will send out the Evite.

Ick!

The Curious Incident was quite good--I read it a couple of years ago and wouldn't mind re-reading it.

Some other thoughts (maybe a bit oddball of a collection):

    The Gargoyle, Andrew Davidson

From the Corner of His Eye, Dean Koontz

Walking in Circles before Lying Down, Merill Markoe

I'm sorry I missed last night's meeting...I was just worn down after work and didn't feel up to driving downtown (darn these springtime colds, it's awful being sick when the weather is so nice!).

Just pulled it while I was at the gym (I read it on the treadmill)

so how are we going to pick from the list of a million books?

Lauren & SRH are teaming up to pick one and do the next evite. The polls were taking too long for people to be able to get a copy from the library and then read it. So, we're trying a return to the old way of doing things in the interest of expediency.

This also gives us options for the coming months as well. I am intriguied by some the ones listed.
