Really? 11 days?
I can not freaking believe it. 11 days from today I will be on vacation. This will be the first vacation since my last Aruban vacation. Im afraid I will cry once I get there. Im also afraid Im going to miss my little guy. But I still can not wait!! I have web-stalked the resorts website and checked out the bars and happy hour times there. (Just in case they changed from the last 2 years which they have) I have almost all my packing done, my new camera charger is on its way to me (I lost my last one) all I have left to do is make my "daddy list"(where Chase is staying) "Aunt Ginger list"(she is doing baseball practice/games and staying at our house with the bulldog) and "school list". List for each of those people of contact info for the other ones. It does make things easier that my aunt is the nurse at Chase's school.
But wow, its almost here. I think Im a little nervous because this is the first vacation we are taking without Chase being with us. Not including our honeymoon, but he was with my mom, which is just like being with us only "more fun". But this time both my parents, both my older brothers, are going with us. My youngest brother just graduated bootcamp in Texas and is now in tech training, and my sister just bought a house and got a new job in Kentucky so they cant go. Im just thankful for my other family that offered to keep an eye out for Chase while we are gone.

woohoo!! Have fun on your trip! I'm sure Chase will be fine and you'll of course miss him but enjoy yourself and your adult time!

From the kid's perspective, my parents used to take a mini trip every year so that they could have some time to themselves. My sister and I would whine about it, but my grandparents took care of it and we actually ended up having fun!!! Chase will be fine, although I'm sure he'll miss you!!
