My results (well, kinda)

So I went this morning, in and out in like 30 minutes. Between the ultrasound tech and the Dr, they couldn't tell what the lump was. The Dr said they couldn't get a good picture of it on the ultrasound... so with my screwed up HMO-like system, I need to go back to student health and get a referral for the next test... I emailed the Dr I saw at student health this morning, so I'm just waiting to hear back. Not necessarily the results I was hoping for... I'm guessing a mammogram next? But we'll see.

Damn HMO! I know when my mom had her follow-up they did an ultrasound AND a mammogram, and then they were able to tell her right away. So hopefully they can get you a referral pretty quickly so you can get the proper results. I'm sorry, I know it's hard waiting!

Yeah. I just really wanted to be able to move on one way or another today. This whole thing has me in a really weird spot since the Dr found the lump last week... bah.

Katie's right- no news is good news. Don't worry about something until you know you should worry about it. Easier said than done, I know... but try, just the same.

Oh man, that's frustrating. Hang in there and stay positive. Hopefully it's just a delay before they can give you a clean bill of health.

How frustrating! T&Ps that things come together so you can move on to the next step (whatever that is...preferably drinking lots of wine and laughing about how silly it all was).
