I had heard it was ending, but I'm surprised it's so early in the spring! It was a favorite show in the beginning, but I haven't liked it as much in the last year or two.

Okay, since no one ever posted about it, I thought I was the only fan, but I admit, I love the show. I am dvr'ing it so I can devote attention but can't wait to find out if something sparks between Betty and Daniel. Eeek!!

I'm sad to see it end. It is one of the shows I really look forward to watching!

Me either Crying ! I DVR it religously every week. I even watched tonights show, but didnt realize it was the last one. . . I guess I should have known. Ugly Betty has been pretty stylishly cute this season. . . time for a spinoff!

Makes me so sad....I loved this show. I think it was such a great show for young girls/women too - that it's not all about how good you look are popular you are.

I think that ABC treated Ugly Betty pretty crappy. Moving the time slot around and not really advertising the new time. Then they cancel it, don't advertise it's ending and then the writers aren't given enough time to wrap it up wrap. The last few episode were just kind of thrown together to tie everything up.

Exactly! It was about being a good person and the good always won over the scheming (plus it wasn't as schmaltzy in that way as, say, "7th Heaven")

IIRC, the show was actually canceled last season and made a surprise comeback this year. During every episode they had commercials about 4 episodes left, 3 episodes left, etc. But if you DVR like me, you zoomed right through those. My mom actually had to tell me about it. I liked the ending. The original show turned their Betty into a stunner, which America is not (pretty, but not gorgeous) so it shouldn't have had the same ending. It would have been too hokey if her and Daniel hooked up right away. I liked these last couple seasons best because they finally got a grasp on the race issue that they didn't right off the bat. I'm sad to see it go, but I liked the wrap up.
