Canada Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
This is why you always read at least one of each type of post, so you don't feel like a tool when you have to ask a question that has been answered a million times.
What the heck do I do with my carseat? can I gate check it? I don't know if I am comfortable with putting it in with the regular luggage in case it gets lost.

Re: Baby travel question
You can, if she has her own seat then take it on the plane. If the flight isn't full the person checking you in might be able to get you a seat for her...if they are nice.
If we are not using ours on the plane then we check them with regular luggage, but we do have special bags that they go into so they don't get all nasty and dirty. If they do loose them then they will give you a loaner and pay for a new one.
