AW: Cleared to close!
We're cleared to close on our house next Wednesday! I just got the call. It's been very trying, so it's nice to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

You have had it easy!!! It took almost 2 months before we got anywhere close to closing on our house!!
Ours was a wee bit more complicated with the loan process as DH is an independent contractor... so we had to bring in coborrowers as they wouldn't count DH's income. With that, came dealing with showing rental income, dividend income, and open lines of credit.... Things that I had nothing to do with but somehow had to figure out. Then there were a lot of mistakes made on said things (like them sending in only one lease of the four current leases I sent them). I realize it could have been worse, but we've been trying to get preapproved/approved for a house since December. So yeah, definitely not an easy road. I will be so happy when we get the keys on Wednesday!
