BF spent a better part of his Saturday a few weeks ago putting sprinklers in part of our lawn...the rest is still pending. He gets home today to find that some punk kid kicked one of the sprinkler heads and broke it. We're assuming that is what happened. The bus stop is right in front of my house and it was just fine last night.
BF is going to become Clint Eastwood on Gran Torino......lol
**annoyed**
Re: punk kids!
Ugh, that sucks--sorry about the damage!!
In my old neighborhood, the kids (ranging in age from 7ish to 10ish) used to ride their bikes through our front yard and leave tire tracks and gouges all over the grass and landscaping. It REALLY p!ssed off XH, who installed a security camera to catch the little punks.
Luckily, their ringleader moved away before he started hiding in the bushes with the hose or cleaning guns in the driveway. (<--I wish I was kidding.)

At our last house we were next to a 50' easement. There were boulders blocking it to keep people from driving through, but these kids on a golf cart would cut across our yard to get to it. One day DH grabbed their golf cart and told them "If I ever catch you driving across my yard again [insert parental threat]...". I thought it was a little harsh, but I never saw them do it again. It's probably a good thing it happened when it did bc shortly after that they started vandalizing the neighborhood, but they were scared of our house.
