Please Note: Home Is Psychologically Affected.

Out of the zillions of houses I've looked out, this is the first time I've come across this creepy statement.  I Google and Google until I finally come up with this.  I'm too afraid to even look at the pictures now.

Re: Please translate

  • LOL...random....never knew such a term existed in the land of real estate.
  • Oh weird. You still interested? I'm sure you could get a great deal!
  • In addition, I'm kind of surprised that they could say that one of the individuals living there could have had HIV... that's gotta be against HIPAA, right?
  • Oh you know I am!  Ha!  I think I'll look out of sick curiosity but only online not IRL.

  • thats super creepy...i couldnt live there...for fear that there could possibly be ghosts or something

  • First off, I didn't know a property had a psychosis.  Secondly, it clearly states within the link you provided that it is not mandatory to disclose that information.  So if you are trying to sell your home, why would you tell people that your home Psychologically Affected??

  • Maybe they figure the neighbors will tell you anyway?

  • lol.....true...and yes I was surprised byt the HIV info.  WTF....you can't say that.
  • You gotta give us a link to the photos of this property.  I am so curious to see it.

  • Yeah, now I want to see it!!
  • Weird...now I'm going to have to tell my bff that her house has a psychological disorder.  The seller had a heart attack and died in their house the day before they closed on it!!

LOL.....I'm not laughing at the man who died, I'm laughing at V's reaction to hearing "Psychological Disorder"...

  • I saw the outside and though, "Oh, it doesn't matter that it's so ugly.  The price is so low, we can change it!"  So I clicked on the image of the house and learned what I originally posted.  After seeing the images, I'm guessing it was 1) a meth lab and 2) someone was murdered.

  • weird.

I can't remember if I asked you this before but do you keep up with http://www.tenmanagement.com/listings/default.do?  It's a lot of HUD homes for sale in different states and there are a lot in IN.  Sometimes there are some great finds on there.  In the 'property condition report' it's lists every little detail about the house and most have more pictures in there.

  • Or maybe they just grew a lot of pot in the house and it was infested with mold.... Cool
  • I've heard of that before.  A house at the end of our street had a murder in it when I was a little girl and they always have to state that when it's sold.  Nothing like that would hinder me from buying a house though.
  • I do take a look at that about once a month but have yet to find anything in Indy that would work.  If we could move, there are houses in other cities/towns that would work.

MIL's house used to be a meth lab and I'm not saying this to deter you in any way but her house is friggin creepy. All the bath tubs were totally destroyed by what ever chemicals they use to make meth, the carpets were all moldy, the basement just reaks and it's just over all a bad vibe when you go there.

  • OMG Octob!tch field trip!!!  I want to experience the psychosis!
  • In looking at the pics I'm definitely going to say it was a meth lab and that there were some problems with the product.  I don't know of too many people who would gut a house because of pot; I could definitely see gutting a house for meth and the residue a batch might leave behind.

Sometimes law school really does mess with your mind.

I never go to Manning Rd, Munkii, but now I really want to!

  • Want to go on a fieldtrip?  hehehe

  • Uhhh yeah. I'm IN real estate and I never heard of that! Maybe this is why my childhood home sold so quickly and for all cash. My dad died in the house, and now drug dealers own it. Great. Good luck next owners!
