Looks like we're going on a 9-day cruise out of Baltimore in November. It's not finalized yet but getting close. Two of our best friends are getting married in September and this trip will be their honeymoon (they're postponing a bit due to his work schedule). We all had such a great time in Jamaica, they decided to invite everyone. It's kind of long so a lot of the guests from our wedding won't be able to come since most of them have LO's. I'm SOOOO excited. I'm really looking forward to taking a 10 minute cab ride down to the port and getting in vaca mode. This will be my first cruise, hope I like it!
Re: Woohoo!
That's awesome! It will kind of be like an anniversary trip for you guys.
Awesome!
Nope! I've never been to any of these places. Except for Bmore, lol.
Absolutely! There aren't a ton of cruises out of it though since we're not super close to any islands. However, I was just talking to my BF in Louisiana about how spoiled we are in Baltimore. I live 20 minutes from a major airport with direct flights to pretty much anywhere in the country for a low price. That's an AMAZING perk of living here. We have two other major airports within an hour as well. To get to her house in LA we have to fly into Dallas, rent a car and drive 3 1/2 hours. What a PITA! They do have an airport in her town but you have to fly to Houston first and flights are usually close to $1000.
Katie - I'll put up a ticker when it's finalized
Yeah I mean, we live relatively close to the Port of Los Angeles, but we're cruising out of San Diego which is only a couple hours drive. Then we near 3 major airports so it's pretty convenient to get out of town... as long as you can find cheap rates! hahaha.
You know someplace that is nearly impossible to get to directly? Eugene, OR. My aunt & uncle live in Eugene and not only is it impossible to get a direct flight, they are crazy expensive. The only way to get there relatively economically is to fly to Portland. PITA.
