Any beginning runners in Waltham?
I just started the couch to 5K program and looking for a running buddy to keep me motivated. It's a pretty slow pace though so I dont want to slow down any experienced runners
Re: Any beginning runners in Waltham?
I wish I was closer! I keep trying to start that program, but I always stop two weeks in (not because it's bad, I just lose motivation).
We can be email buddies if you can't find someone to run with you! We can have check in days to keep each other on board.
That's a great idea! Let's def keep in touch. I'm starting week two whenever I get the motivation to run. i was thinking of running this weekend outside, but the weather is not in my favor that little venture!
::raises hand:: I live in Waltham! I started with a 5K years ago and have actually worked my way up to a marathon. Don't worry since the marathon I have slacked big time, and I'm a slow runner. On my walk with the dogs the other day I started to jog and didn't make it very far.
What is the couch to 5K program?
Halley! I didn't know you lived in the ham!
Here's the program: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml
I did take Advil. Not sure if it worked or not, but I guess it did. I was a little crampy after it but nothing too serious. Let me know how you make out!
I'd love to run with someone else. Let me know if you're interested. Between that and P90X, if I don't lose the weight, something's clearly wrong with me!
I took advil. The Dr. had to put an instrument on my cervix to hold it still because it kept moving...werid. That was uncomfortable but I survived. The Dr. said my ute looks good and my own Dr. would review the final results at my follow up. So good news! It was cool to see the dye filling up my ute.
Wow! P90X and this - you are motivated! I'm in if you want a buddy. We can try it out next week depending on the weather.
