What hospital do you work at? I did an internship at Barnes in
Marketing/PR. And I did work study at the university hospital.
I also see you're another sapphire engagement ring girl! Me too! It's my center stone.
What part of St. Louis are you in? I lived on campus for the first 3 years then rented a house with some friends in the Carondelet Park area. I loved it there and miss that neighborhood.

Um, this is crazy! I used to work at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (I don't anymore but it's a long story), but my bff works in their marketing/PR department! She does all of the internal communications. Do you still know anyone there?
Yes, I love my sapphires. I'm a huge nerd and actually fell in love with the design after the episode of Friends where Chandler buys Monica's e-ring at an antique store.
Right now I live in North County in Florissant. DH bought a condo here about 5 years ago when he was doing grad school at SIUE, so I moved in a year ago. BUT, before that I lived two blocks from Carondelet Park! I also loved the neighborhood and that park is beautiful in the fall.
I've practically lived all over St. Louis (Shaw Neighborhood, Kirkwood, South County) but I think I'm a city girl at heart. If the school district wasn't complete crap I'd consider buying a house there someday.
It was a long time ago. Really. It was actually after I graduated, but in 1992.
Jeannette Batts was my boss, but I think she left when I was there. Scott Ragan was somebody else. Can't think of the others right now. Loooong time ago.
I think I lived on Haven Street. It was so close to Aldi going one direction and Walgreen's the other. I love that area. Actually I love St. Louis. I haven't been back in so long and I really want to go back and spend a week and hit all my fave spots - the Landing, The Hill, the zoo, the Jewel Box and all the park, and many more! I just hope they're all still there.
I don't have a pic of my ring, but it has some antique-looking features.

I lived on Holly Hills in a great four-family-flat. I know St. Louis gets a bad rap sometimes, but I love it here too. If you ever get the urge to come back, let me know! There are a few STL nesties here, and Danielle, Katie S. and I have had a few gtg's. My only requirement is that you bring that adorable daughter with you!
I love Holly Hills! Such a cute street! I was a block from Morganford, towards the park.
When I drag the family back, I will let you know. DH wants to check all those places out. (Can't forget Amighetti's! And all the other fab Italian places - Rigazzis, Cunnetos, my mouth is watering!) And of course Caroline will be in tow.
