Where did/have you bought your living room furniture from? We're looking to replace everything (couches/side tables/entertainment center)
Re: Living Room Furniture
Our side tables are from Ashley; our couches are from Furniture Fair; our entertainment center is from Sam's Club.
Ashley was great to work with, and we felt like we got a lot of bang for our buck.
I actually won the couches from Furniture Fair, but they've held up really well (I've had them 6.5 years), and I like their versatility. They have built in cup holders/magazine storage areas on the love seat and recliner, all but the middle seat on the full size couch reclines, and they're just plain comfortable.
Sam's Club- in the end it wound up fine, but we had a lot of issues with it. The center piece wound up getting ripped by the shipping box (particle board literally had a slit in it). Called them. They told us it would get replaced. Shipping company refused the shipment, so even though we were supposed to get it, it never came. Same thing happened THREE times. We wound up getting our money refunded and didn't have to return the piece. This was after almost a year of going round and round with them, and a lot of leg work on my part. The rip is hidden by a frame, so unless you knew it was there, you'd never know. So the price was right, but what happened to us makes me question using them again just because of all of the headaches involved. It took me getting ahold of the right person at Sam's Club customer service line to listen, follow the chain of events, and resolve it nicely.
Our sectional is from Haverty's. It's microfiber cushions with faux leather on the frame. We have had it about 6 months and so far so good. We love the classy look to it, versatility of arrangements, and the ottoman is great for storage. You might not want to get the faux leather stuff if you have animals because I hear they scratch it up. We haven't had issues yet but it's just DH and me...
Our side tables, coffee table, and console table are all from Furniture Fair. It was the only place I found something that I liked for the price we wanted to spend. They are a dark wood with glass inset tops. No complaints so far there.
Our entertainment center is from Costco. We picked it up and brought it home to build. Love it and the price was awesome. We also used Costco.com to get our bedroom furniture set with success and they have lots more selection online for all types of furniture. Delivery was included in the price and went very smooth. They even put everything together for us. Very high quality stuff and the price absolutely cannot be beat!

We went to J&L in Florence, KY... It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but they do business with all the big manufacturers and work in the model homes in the area. Everything is much cheaper than what you would pay at Haverty's or Furniture Fair and the quality is on the same level since they carry the same brands.
Everything is customer order it took us 6 weeks to get our order from them which is the down side. But since its all custom made you get to choose your fabric, trim, and accent pillows. We ended up getting a sectional, sofa and chair + 1/2 from there this summer. Everything is Klausner and in their microfiber (its almost a velvet texure) and we have had no problems.
We found our couch at American Frieght (at 747 & Mulhauser). It's a bi-cast leather which we found in our research to be more durable and still breathable (so no cracking) than other types. We have a large dog and he has gotten on it a lot and there are no holes or scratches. It looks and feel like leather too, no plastic-y.
I was just at Arhause at Kenwood Mall looking for a dining table and they have 30% off anything full price. I love their stuff. I suggest at least taking a look there. They offer delivery and set up and a 1 year warranty. they have a lot of clearance items in store too.
