Here are two awesome things I've come across...both made with Solarveil... a fabric that is breathable but protects baby from the sun... perfect for summer or warm climates...
Soft Structure Carriers made with it here:

This you add to the carrier you already own (mei teis, SSCs, wraps, slings, etc.):

If you Google Solarveil and Baby wearing you'll find more options too.
This is a great site for anyone intersted in Baby Wearing:

Re: S/O Baby Carriers/BWing
Oh! And I got a Scootababy for $26 today on eBay! I was in a bidding war...it was so weird. I found the listing today...it had been up for 7 days already with no bids. Opening bid was $9.99 so with 4 hours left on the auction I bid $17. I went about my business and checked with 2 hours to go and no change. An hour later, the same. So I sat down to nurse Libby and as I am oft to do...dozed off with her. I awoke witha start and refreshed the eBay page...it was >1m! And I had been outbid by two other bidders who were going at it back and forth. I put in $26 and hit bid and literally won the auction with no time to spare! CRAZY, huh?
Anyway, they offer returns for 7 days so if I don't like it we'll just send it back. Or I may eBay it myself! Those things go for $100+ brand new.

I'm a FB fan of Sleeping Baby Productions and people go nuts over the solarveil when she happens to get it in stock. I went with plain linen because the sun isn't often an issue around here, haha.
