Our weekend was great. On Friday while DH was at work I took the kids to Disneyland. We went to CA Adventure and road the California Screamin and I took the kids on the big ferris wheel. They had never been on it so I took them on one of the cars that swings. Then we headed over to Disneyland we were going to ride Indiana Jones and got right to the end of the line, to the spot where they tell you which line to go in to get on the ride next and it broke down. Luckily they gave us a pass to get on any ride through the fast pass line. We chose Big Thunder Mountain, after that we went home and went to bed.
Saturday we got up and I took the truck to get the brakes and an oil change. A friend recommended a mechanic because we totally got ripped off at the dealership last time we got out brakes done, they didn't turn the rotors so I was afraid we were going to need new ones. We ended up not needing rotors but the total was 160 for the brakes and oil change. It was a great price. After that, we did some yard work and cleaned up the house a little and hung out.
Yesterday, we took the kids to Tanaka Farms in Irvine to do some strawberry picking. It was fun, they took us around the farm in wagons pulled by tractors and we got to try different vegetables freshly picked. Then we stopped at the strawberry fields and they let you go pick your own strawberries. They give you a 1 pound container to fill up to take with you and you can eat as many off the vine as you want. After that, we went to Disney again. We got a new DSLR so we wanted to play with it a little so CA Adventure was really crowded so we just headed to Disneyland and rode a few rides and then headed home.
We had a busy weekend, I'm burnt to a crisp but it was a blast.

I had a really good weekend. Wish dh would have been home but work = money. I got a pedi and had lunch with the girls for my birthday. Watched Up in the Air and 27 dresses. Church on Sunday, lunch with the IL's and a graduation ceremony for a friend. Came home last night and went on a cleaning freakout mode. I like these nesting instincts!
Today, I have a dr's appt and dh comes home! Yay!!
Happy Monday! I wasnt too happy about Monday until I got my morning coffee and now I'm feeling much better
Friday H and I went out to dinner to celebrate our 4 yr dating anniversary and checked out this new restaurant in HB. We managed to get an awesome server who totally hooked us up! He gave us a free $20 gc to use, free dessert and free champagne and bc of a mix up in the kitchen with our appetizer the manager gave us a coupon for a free appetizer next time we come!
Saturday morning I swung by my printers to get a wedding invitation printed, then drove to the IE to spend time with my dad since he's in town. Didnt do much on Sat other than watch a marathon of Parenthood and relax.
Sunday we decided to check out Claremont Toyota since H and I have been talking about maybe getting me a new car since my car's getting up there. I was really excited but the guys there were SO RUDE! I was so shocked that the sales manager was such an a-hole. We ended up wasting 2 hrs there and both my dad and I walked away pissed. After the Toyota dealership, we hit up Costco and then I went home.
Today nothing exciting, just going to try and survive another day of work.
Brandi - yay for the new camera. That strawberry place sounds fun, maybe we'll have to make a field trip over there.
We had a very busy weekend. Friday was a trip tp Lowe's and dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. The new one in Redlands is nice! Saturday afternoon I took pics for some friends and then we went out to dinner. Sunday was shurch, hangint out and pics of the nieces and nephews. It was exhausting but so fun!
