This sucks
DH insisted that our cat, Vinnie officially become an "outside" cat now. He spent his first night outside and he keeps meowing at the door 
But he kept pee'ing on the floor right by DH's music equipment and in our laundry room. We just can't let a cat destroy our house.
But it's so hard because he's almost 8 years old now and I had him since he was a tiny kitten, his eyes weren't even open yet and I had to bottle feed him. So it's really been hard on me. I hope he adjusts soon
