Well the CT scan was relatively pain less. The worse part was getting the IV and the shot that gives you a hot flash (seriously, it make you feel like you wet your pants). It was quick though and I was home by 8:30AM. They told me they would read the results today and fax them to the doctor but I figured I wouldn't hear anything until next week. But my phone ran at 1PM and it was my doc. He says everything looks normal except my colon. He said it looked inflamed and he's not sure if it's just from my IBS or if it could be colitis. So that means I get to have a colonoscopy. Oh joy! (note sarcasm) But I am happy to finally be getting down to the root of all my stomach issues.
Thanks again for all the T&P's!
Re: Update
Colonoscopies are not so bad, I have had one and the worse part for me was the anasteia (sp?). Glad everything else looks good.
So glad everything went smoothly. I seriously think we were seperated at birth, because I'm have very similar issues. Going to the doc the 29th(day after my b-day...yuck)
I hope all is well and it's nothing meds can't fix!! GL girly!!!
I have heard the same about colonoscopies, that the anthestisia is the worst part. Well and the stuff you have to drink to clean you out. I guess I just have to get over the fact that someone is sticking something you know where.
Sierra - That's craziness! We must have been seperated! Hope everything goes well at the appt!
