Shock from the DH...
He wants a puppy. 
My parents raise a litter of Blue heeler puppies every now and then. They are really good dogs so they never have trouble finding them homes. Well when DH and I went over to their house Friday and went to the barn he picked one up and wanted it. I could not believe it. I'm usually the one that wants all the animals. He siad we could sleep on it and tell them the next day for sure. So on the way home I was asking him, "you really want that puppy?" He siad yes becasue he's never had his own dog. They have always had a family pet but never one that was "his" dog. So we'll be getting him this weekend I think. I know it will be hard to have a new puppy and move to a rent house but I want this for DH cause I know he wants it, so what ever I have to do to make this happen I will. I'll try to post pics of the pup soon.
Potential name right now is: "Turbo" lol (DH is a car guy)
But he wants to get to know him alittle first before he decides.

Lucky! J wants a dog so bad. Every time he talks about our future plans he talks about "his dog". Some day!

Thats freaking awesome! Our Josie is a blue heeler, she's seriously the best dog I have ever known. They are so smart, they just seem to be in tune with your thoughts sometimes. Ours is super protective and such a constant joy . . . I would be lonely without her when R is gone.
