S/O Puppies
No, we're not getting another dog!
However, Sierra's puppy post reminded me to share something that was said to me last night. I was at a family friend's birthday party and someone I haven't seen in awhile asked me how our dog was. I told her Miller passed away in February and how it happened, and casually said "Oh we'll probably get another puppy sometime soon" (not really, I was just making small talk).
Her response is "Better a puppy than a baby!".
I just laughed and then thought about how bad she's going to feel when she finds out from my mom that I'm pregnant (this is a church friend who is my parents age). I'm not offended in any way, but I just wonder why people say things like that.
