Work just announced that in the name of "customer service" they're extending office hours until 8pm. That means that at least one day a week, I'll have a "late day."
Grr. Not cool.

Probably not because I'd be starting later and staying late - the overall hours per week won't change.
I'm just totally a morning person. I would much rather start at something like 7:30-8:30 am if it means that I'll be getting out of work earlier. I hate working nights.
That SUCKS big time. It would be better if they could see if people on your team would prefer to work a later shift, then let you all who prefer it work the regular hours.
I am with you on starting early. I would get my butt to work at 7 if it meant I could get out at 4! I work 9-6 regularly (with a 40 minute commute each way) and getting home at almost 7 each night totally blows.

But you'll have one day during the week to sleep in! I would love it!
DH is off on Wednesdays (not by choice though, they cut his hours/pay) and I'm always so jealous to see him sleeping there while I get up for work. Of course, we both wish he could go back to full time, but I'm secretly jealous.
